On 19 December 2010 (St Nicolas Day) the Russian Orthodox Church in Birmingham celebrated its first year of service. Archpriest Gennadiy has been giving regular services and more and more people attend the services. The services are temporarily taking place at a Church of England but it is hoped that in time it will be possible to set up a Russian Orthodox church.
